Figurative Language
Today 4th graders explored the figurative language techniques of personification, idiom, alliteration, metaphor, simile, onomatopoeia). After a mini-lesson reviewing the different techniques, students circulated throughout the room reading sentences filled with figurative language and identified the technique used in each sentence.
