Choosing Books Wisely

An important component of reading workshop is independent reading.  Students have learned how to select books wisely that they are able to read independently.  Student "book checkers" spot check students as they are reading to ensure that they have made a wise choice in their book selection.  Mrs. Wilke also checks to ensure that students have made wise choices.
