Flash Drafting

Today students chose a seed idea that they will develop over the next week. Or goal for today was to complete the first draft of our seed ideas in one sitting. Most students wrote multiple pages and were able to complete the draft. One of our favorite parts of writing workshop is sharing what we have written with others. The students do a great job of celebrating the successes of their fellow writers and providing suggestions when someone is stuck.
