Writing Tools

Today writers got together with a partner and looked at a piece of narrative writing.  They measured the  progress of the writer using the narrative writing checklist.  Then, writers used the checklist to measure their own writing progress asking the questions, "Am I getting better?" and "What should I work on next?"
