The 5th graders crunched some numbers from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They studied a map of the parade route, described, measured, and hypothesized about why this route was chose and then calculated how long each band marched and what time they arrived at the finish. They also approximated the size of balloons in the parade.
