Media Literacy and Text Structure

After reviewing the five text structures that were previously introduced and what we have already learned about media literacy, students watched a short video clip about the Phoenix Zoo. Their task was to determine the "text" structure of the video. After determining that it was a problem and solution structure, students found that it was easy to determine what was most important in the video-the problem and the solution.
