Word Study

Students will usually get new word study words on Fridays.  The words will be introduced in class and time will be set aside most days in class for students who explore the patterns, use the words in context, and practice spelling the words.  Word study assessments will be given on Fridays.  Students should be able to sort, spell, and use the words in context.  Students will bring a set of the words home on Fridays to practice at home.
