Kind Words and Toothpaste

Today we read the book Mr. Peabody's Apples. It is about the damage that can be caused by spreading rumors and teaches the reader that they should not be quick to judge and that words can be very powerful. After reading the book we completed an activity with toothpaste to help us remember how powerful our words can be and that they "stick" to people's hearts after they come out of our mouths. The activity was a bit sticky and messy but powerful. We know ways to play because it helps us learn!
