Epic

Students used Epic today as part of the immersion phase of our social studies inquiry unit about world government.  Epic is an online library of over 25,000 high-quality fiction and nonfiction books for kids.  It includes personalized recommendations for each student based on individual reading preferences and abilities. Students applied close reading strategies as they began to read the book What Is Democracy? while completing a reading guide.  Please ask your student what they have learned about democratic governments so far.
