Fall Conferences - 5th Graders

The letter below about 5th grade fall conferences was sent home with all 5th grade students today, Thursday, October 5.  Please complete the bottom portion of the letter and return it to school by Monday, October 9.  Please contact Mrs. Wilke if you have any questions.

Dear Parents of Team Believe 5th Graders,
Parent teacher conferences occur on October 23rd and 24th.  We will meet with all 5th graders that are new to Wilson this year and any families that would like to meet with us.  Please note:  all 5th graders have an intermediate-school-planning conference in the winter in coordination with the school guidance counselor.  The planning conference is a time for us to discuss your studentʼs strengths and challenges, highlight growth that has occurred, make goals for the remainder of the year, and plan for intermediate school.  Please plan to attend the winter planning conference with your student.  Your student prepares for and leads the conference.  Expect sign-up dates and times for the winter conferences to be sent out at another time.

We have listed the times available for 15-minute fall conferences below and would like to know which three time slots you are available.  Please place a 1, 2, or 3, next to your top three choices and return this form to school with your student by Monday, October 9th if your student is new to Wilson this year or you would like a fall conference in addition to the winter planning conference.  You will receive a confirmation slip with your scheduled date and specific 15-minute conference time.

Mrs. Wilke and Ms. Kuhl
